Welcome to Stapleford View Care Home, where residents and families are greeted by a team led by our compassionate and skilled Registered Home Manager, Helen. With a broad and deep background in healthcare, Helen brings not only clinical expertise but also a genuine dedication to improving the quality of life for each individual in our care. Her experience spans years of hands-on nursing, as well as advanced studies and certifications in Dementia and Advanced Dementia Studies, making her particularly attuned to the specialized needs of residents with memory care needs. Helen joined the Medina Group of Care Homes in Nottinghamshire in 2019 and has since made a meaningful impact as the Registered Manager in three different care homes. Currently, she oversees both Stapleford View Care Home and Wilford View Care Home, providing leadership, oversight, and a personal touch in both locations.

Helen’s approach to care is rooted in her belief that each person deserves respect, dignity, and a sense of belonging. Her passion for individualised, person-centred care shines through in every aspect of her work, with a focus on building strong, meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff members. Helen fosters a warm, family-like atmosphere where residents feel understood, valued, and truly at home. She is dedicated to creating an environment that encourages open communication, mutual respect, and genuine connections among everyone involved.

Helen is the Registered Manager for both Stapleford View Care Home and a sister home Wilford View Care Home. Inspected by the CQC in January 2025 Wilford View has achieved a wonderful Outstanding rating! Feedback shared in this report included “The registered manager led by example, and showed compassion, empathy and strong, capable management skills” (CQC 2025) with the service being one others could learn from. We echo these qualities at Stapleford View as we strive for a second, outstanding service.
